TesseracT

TesseracT started as a musical experiment for creativity outlet by Acle Kahney. Acle used to experiment with heavy distortion sounds and was getting feedback from other members of the communities that were formed at the time [ a name for the technique that Acle was using was given djent ]

the band went through a few changes vocal wise; changing singer after singer...first came Juilien Perier (French)  that for reasons of transportation and logistics was abandoned. Then  Abisola Obasanya came and went, to be followed by Dan Tompkins. With Tompkins the group was completed; Jay Postones on drums, James Monteith on guitar, Amos Williams on bass and of course Acle Kahney on guitar. With the last change in ranks the band went into the studio to record an extended play album Concealing Fate and after that their first album One.

the album has thick guitar sounds balanced with melodic harmonies. Beautifully crafted loop and dub work on the guitars as well. Creating something exotic and magic in the process. Drums and Bass have a good connection with both of the musicians giving their best performances, making the sound even more melodic. The vocals are perfectly placed with the right tone at each point. It comes as a surprise that after the release of the album Dan Tompkins left from the band and a new vocalist filled in the spot; his name Elliot Coleman. TesseracT are entering the studio again to release their new album in 2012.
